This is a discussion on Round Battery Icon within the Droid Themes forums, part of the Droid Theming category; How do I install it. Copy it to my SD card? Do I need to unzip it first?...
Is there any way to get the battery icon from the Cyanogenmod for Droid rom to work on the BB v8 rom I'm using? It shows the percent of your battery left in the icon itself.
I'm using BlackDroid's 7 ROM and it will not install with it. I can see it in Metamorph, it will install it and then reboot my droid. When it comes back up though, the battery icon has not changed.

Same exact thing happen for me too. Tried both unzipping it maunually and let it use the zip file. I pm'd switchblade5984 waiting for a reply......

There is a comment on the blackdroid 7.5 thread that says the cool battery indicator may be in the next update

OK unzip folder.
Plugin droid via USB cable and mount
Move the subfolder into Android Themes.
Using MM choose: Existing Theme
Pick the round battery of your choice (Red_Round Battery).
Tap on the .thm, which will then allow you to tap on framework-res.apk, and apply it!
Should work.
For some reason when you unzip on the device it only unzips some of the files into the folder (example 62 files...60 unzipped)

yep did exactly that and it rebooted for me and all, and still have the stock battery
is it possible the "alarm clock" is messing it up?

Try it a few times...
I think on the 4th try it worked.
I am using Ultimate Droid7 (update7, Adamz kernel mv/800, nandroid install).
Worked for me but it was after repeated attempts.
And I was able after repeated attempts to install JustNotifications as well.
