    Moto Droid INTERNAL WALLPAPER DIRECTORY?

    Where can I put my custom wallpapers so that I can view them through the WALLPAPER menu item from the "add to home screen" menu? I know I can just dump my wallpapers in the DCIM/Camera directory, but I would like to have all my wallpapers accessible from the actual wallpaper gallery.

    My understanding is that the wallpaper directory is coded into the OS at some level, and that users cannot add to it.

    I don't know if rooting, hacks, etc. could get you around it.

    Yes the wallpaper directory is coded into the launcher.apk file. You cannot do anything to it without root access.
