that was the rage back in the 70's. It's on most of the ads. I just think it looks great. Im also new to the droid and its the easiest phone I have ever used.

Are you referring to the Beautiful Widgets click and weather application? The original one was pulled because HTC gave them a cease and desist order. They came back with a different font but I'm not feeling it so won't upgrade to that one.

No it is the time (clock) where the numbers just flip like half pages kinda like the down markers on the football side lines. Again new on this forum so treading lightly. Maybe I can get a pipc up but I see the eris advertised with that clock on it.

That would be weather widget donate. It comes free on htc phones, but someone copied the look of it and made a widget that looks just like it. There is no flip animationb though
I'm using one called "retro clock" just shows time and date as a separate widget. Sounds like what you are looking for.
I have weather widget donate works great has animated weather effects. Also u can download different clock themes u should check it out.
retro clock works great. Home++ also has a built in flip clock
both also offer the date

The 'retro clock widget' looks like a flip clock, but does not actually "flip".
The flip clock/date in Home++ actually "flip".
