ATTN: All experienced themers! Anybody know how to...

Does ANYONE know how to change the following highlight colors in the Android Interface?

    1) The orange highlight around hyperlinks (whether they be in the browser, or any other application for that matter):

    2) The "Text Select Handles", along with the orange text highlight color:

For the record, these Text Select Handles are NOT the same ones found in the Drawable HDPI folder of Framework-res. I have changed those to green, and still, whenever selecting text on a web page (or any text that is not within an editable textfield for that matter) they will always have the orange handles and will only highlight orange.

Inside of editable textfields (ie. keyboard textfield), the highlight color is easily changed within the /values/styles.xml by changing the textColorHighlight code. But it has no effect on non-editable text.

I have also edited the \drawable\list_highlight_active.xml and the \drawable\list_highlight_inactive.xml code for green, but that still won't change the non-editable text on a webpage.

Anyone have any ideas, or know exactly what needs to be changed?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Wow... the silence is deafening!!! So, I'll take that as a big N O...

Surely someone knows, or has somewhat of an idea... or somebody knows it's impossible to change (which seems impossible in and of itself... the color command/code has to be somewhere. It didn't just create itself).
