customizing unlock screen

Today, I got my droid x rooted with liberty 2.0.1 + linear theme. Apparently, phone looks amazing, only flaw i found is unlock screen which look kinda disoriented and messy. Is there a way to customize unlock screen manually via rom or apply on root files?(For ex. remove 'liberty v2.0.1' sign and changing clock position) I've tried 'lockbot pro' app but that doesn't look good at all. Suggestions will be appreciated. Thx

To remove the "Liberty v2.0.1" go into Liberty Toolbox, click on Liberty Mods, click on Pulldown Bar Editor.

You can delete the text for that or replace it with something you want it to say.

As for your lockscreen, you can use something called Widget Locker. This is a total lockscreen customizer. It gives you the ability to change and/or do just about anything to your lockscreen.

Widget locker or Simple lockscreen would be my recommendations.....Widget locker will probably be your preferred.
