Theming pulldown in GB

This is a discussion on Theming pulldown in GB within the Droid Themes forums, part of the Droid Hacking category; Can someone please tell me where that ugly blue bar comes from in gb so i can change it. Thanx in advance....

    Theming pulldown in GB

    Can someone please tell me where that ugly blue bar comes from in gb so i can change it. Thanx in advance.

    Im in the DX but I believe what you are referring to is in the systemui.apk

    Checked every image in systemui apk i even changed images that i dont know what they are in, framework, blur res, and moto res, just to see what happened and still no dice. Im begining to wonder if its in an xml or something. Help please.

    I checked gingerbread for the DX and not sure of it's different than yours but what you're looking for is in systemui.apk. called statusbar_background.9.png. , status_bar_close_on.9.png , title_bar_portrait.9.png and statusbar_background.9.png. all have to do with the status/notification pulldown.

    Thanx for tryin, but none of those are it. If u look in the op in the screenshot where it says "ongoing" and "notifications" the coler is navy blue. I am looking to changing it to black or to match my statusbar but i have looked and looked and can not find it. I am betting its an xml file, but im not good with xmls.

    Ok, sorry for all the posts, i found the answer at mydroidworld in a thread called "Notes on theming DX Gingerbread" you have to decompile the sytemui.apk and edit the shade_bgcolor in res/values/drawables.xml.
