03-31-2011 09:10 AMAll homescreen launchers use the icons from the apps. So you would have to change them in each app to get the ones you want on the desktop.

I also have an option to customize icons via adding a shortcut to the desktop. Just don't know how to get icons in my gallery

03-31-2011 09:17 PMYes you are correct launcher pro does have the shortcut ability, and you can go online and look at some icon packs, save them to your SD card, and they will show up automatically in your gallery

03-31-2011 09:17 PMYou could put the icons in the download folder in your sd if you have one. Our phones are different but that should be the same. The other way is ninja morph. There's a how to video on YouTube

04-03-2011 05:01 PMLauncher Pro allows you to change an icon on the desktop. Make sure you have the icons you want, delete the app, long press on the screen you want it, add the app, and then it will ask if you want to change the icon, browse your SD card and select the icon you want.

04-03-2011 06:30 PMGO launcher allows you to long press on an app icon and an option to change the icon appears.
