i figured we could use a place for all our background images to go/share. as confirmed in this thread, the background images need to be 960x854 pixels and will span the three desktops on the (motorola) droid.
there is one or two in the thread linked above, but lets get them started here!

possibly.. a thread like this could get huge and not easily searchable. wanna wait and see, or go ahead and make a photo gallery?

I think a gallery would be easiest though.
With categories i.e. nature, miscellaneous , patterns etc etc.
something easily searchable..

Sounds Good! We'll work on adding a photo gallery that enables all members to upload wallpapers.
Keep it coming with the category ideas. We would like to make sure we can offer something that is completely organized from day 1. (It is much harder to go back and reorganize down the road) -

yeah, lets close this and wait until the gallery is up and going.
oh, when you make the photo gallery, make sure that it will allow this resolution uploads since right now it is limited to 600x660 pixels
