This is my First Posted Theme-- Will do the best I can...
NOW SUPPORTS 2.0.1 DOWNLOAD HERE Contacts.zip 2.1 VER ON BOTTOM OF POST


Frist of all I would like to thank tdawg5480, for the find and some tips on skinning.

This Dialer skin is based on the Red Droid. All my skins will be red, because I don't have time to put out several different colors. Please feel free to edit any files to you liking and redistribute them as you please. Just give me a thanx and I will be happy.

Notice the Eye Blinks when u tap it




This theme will also change some other aspects of the dialer as seen below.





INSTRUCTIONS: [YOU MUST BE ROOTED W/ 2.1 ROM]
[MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL Contacts.apk]

First you must have a 2.1 rom, this has not been tested on anything else.
Obviously if you have a 2.1 rom then you are rooted, you must also have busybox installed as well.

Secondly download the Contact.zip and rename it to Contact.apk and place it on your sd card.

Now make sure you have your phone on Usb Debugging mode and enter these commands into terminal.

su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
busybox cp -R /sdcard/Contacts.apk /system/app
reboot

Now if you did everything right then you should have your new dialer.

does not work on 2.0.1,says application not installed when i try to open phone/contact app,lol would be cool if it did work

If someone will send me a copy of the Contacts.apk for 2.0.1, I will swap the files over and repost for you......

if i pull the contacts.apk out of my backup,will it contain my contacts in it,not sure what all personal info is in it.

I honestly don't know and I understand your concern, If anyone could answer this, it would be much appreciated.

i guess the worse thing that would happen is everyone would call/text the different of 18 contacts i have,lol no different then the random bill collectors calling them.

nevermind,that was easy,just merge the res file. i got it but ill still give you the file,so you can support both 2.0.1 and 2.1
