Wallpaper app question

^ Indeed. Launcher++, Home++, DxTop, GDE, PandaHome....
They all give you the option to add more home screens to your Droid.

...and FYI... 2.1 update has 5 screens (nothing confirmed however yet)

Yes, but with Home++, you can set it to show the same picture (not scrolled) on each screen. Thus, the resolution for that picture would need to be 480x854.

Btw, thanks for clarifying the individual screen resolution, since I provided the res. for all 3 screens.

As for how to do it, go under Home++ Preferences, choose "Graphics", and then un-check "Wallpaper scroll"

I'm not sure about what you're asking. BUT I do have another question/observation.... it seemst hat even if the picture has a huge resolution (1500x1500, etc) it still looks like crap on the Droid. However, if the Resolution is spot on it will look 20 times better. In short, it seems like cropping wallpapers screws the quality?

Are you stretching the crop window?

Tap on the orange box and drag the arrows...

Lol, yes I am... It seems to depend on the picture size... it's strange. I just crop them in Windows first so they are the exact size now. A bit of a hastle but not a big deal.

i was surfing this morning and ran across so cool pix on Gizmodo. One of those "retrospective" things. In it was a bunch of hi res shots from the Casinini sattellite or the sun, Jupiter, Mars, the moon etc. I grabbed several and use them for wallpaper. AWSOME!!

I'm using the Saturn now. I did nothing to it but load it on the card and select it in my pix and say make it wall paper. Drug the handles all the way to max and set it. Looks great and covers all three screens I use in Panda.
