    Help changing font color

    Hey I ported avalon over to steel droid and the text color seems to be off. It has white on white text in force close messages and othe times. Anyway I can do this with ninjamorph or any help is welcome.

    some apk's won't transfer over from rom to rom like browser, Mms, settings, framework-res, etc... which is why themes are ROM specific unless they're Metamorph themes... the white on white text, if just throughout the system, will be in res/values/colors or in a specific location in res/layout or res/drawable.... it's not always easy to isolate the exact xml to change so you gotta play around with it.... hope this helps.

    I haven't messed with editing xml's with ninja and they might not even be readable since its not decompiled... I use an Apk manager on my pc to edit stuff.... not sure if you can change what you wanna so ya might need to restore a back up and try something else....

    So you want to edit xml's or more... an ADB. APK Manager How-To (Basics) here's a thread on xml editing... it has the dl links for the proper programs.... also in that thread, thebowers posted and under his name is a few other tuts on how/what to change...

    Thanks I appreciate it ill tackle that sometime this week or weekend.been a lurker for awhile finally decided to try somethings of my own. I love the look of avalon, and with this forums help hopefully I can make my phone perfect for me. Thanks for all your help!! Ill update you soon!

    No prob... I just saw your thread on xda and the batt issue is most likely that the new one is for 20%(example) increments and your rom reads in 10% so every other 10% mark will revert to the png in the framework or systemui.apk that corresponds to that reading...
