First, thanks to Papachach for a great starting point to get this where it is.. and for showing me what I was doing wrong with APK Manager 4.9, thanks man!
This is the complete inversion......
This will install over the test version or any other one in /system. If you currently have it in /data, you will need to uninstall first...

12-11-2010 09:46 AMupdate worked flawlessly with the update.zip. Also the initial dialog box (showing updated info) is white on white. Not a big deal cause it's a one time thing. kudoos.

12-11-2010 10:13 AMI actually was able to sign it and install to data. If you like, once you get it finished tonite, or whenever, i'll get that version signed and released for non rooted users as well.

1. What you need to know about rooting
Want to root or to get to stock/unroot?
2. SBF to root 2.1 and to unroot any D1 OS
3. Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version
4. Root your Thunderbolt
