    Custom Icons by DroidMunkey

    I like making them so I thought I'd open up a custom shop for em. You can see some of my already made icons here.

    Just tell me the name of the App, shape, and a colour or texture (ex: Red or Carbon Fiber)

    Tutorial On How To Install Icons.
    (Note: This only works on you screens, everywhere else will have the default icon.)

    1. Make a folder on your SD card where you put your gallery images called icons and put your icons in there.
    2. Download and Install Bettercut.
    3. Go to the screen you want your new icon on. (Make sure you screen is empty or has room because doing this makes a new icon, IT DOES NOT REPLACE THE EXISTING ONE.)
    4. Touch "Edit Shortcut."
    5. Touch the app you want to edit.
    6. Touch "Change Icon"
    7. Touch "Pick Picture" and find your icon. Once found, touch the icon.
    8. Edit the name if you wish.
    9. Touch "Create"
    10. If u go back to you home screen, you will the new icon.
    11. Repeat.

    true... but iphone icons are nice compared to some of the apps icons

    This is certainly a solid effort, and a very nice gesture, but...

    As someone who owned all three generations of iPhone prior to buying my DROID, I have no desire whatsoever to have my DROID look anything like that Romper Room -inspired, boring grid of icons that Apple tries to pass off as an OS.

    this is mostly for app icons... and they could be in anyshape too... not just a square
