    Notification Light Stopped Working

I have a Droid with all of the latest updates, and I just noticed on Tuesday that the light isn't working anymore. It used to flash green when I had a gmail/email/text/voicemail, but now I get nothing. I tried powering off/on, removing the battery, and checked the apps that had notification settings. Am I missing something in the Droid settings menu? Could it just be burnt out somehow?

It's driving me crazy that I can't figure out how to fix it.

    Thanks!

I had the same problem with my DX. The light just stopped working. I have no idea why, but when I got the last update it started working again. Maybe rooting and flashing another rom could help. Sorry for not having a better answer for you.

I thought about that, but I haven't rooted it yet and if it's a phone problem then I'd rather take it to Verizon and see about getting it replaced. If I root it I won't have that option. It's an interesting conundrum

I see your point. However, z4root does have a1 click unroot button as well so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I hope you get something working.
