So my droid froze one day then I pressed the lock button and since then all I can see on my phone is black, the backlight works, and the touch barely works, but i can't see anything. Anybody know the solution?

So my droid froze one day then I pressed the lock button and since then all I can see on my phone is black, the backlight works, and the touch barely works, but i can't see anything. Anybody know the solution?
did a battery pull not fix anything?

That does not sound good. Did you drop your phone? Is it rooted? If not take it to VZW and ask for assistance.
yeah battery pull doesn't do anything, nope i have no water damage, haven't dropped it in a while, and this ones never been rooted
sounds like a hardware issue. got insurance?

Then I would get to a VZW store.
I believe so.
I think they are too, which may explain why this new trade in program the droid 2 is nearly half the price of the original droid because the original is almost out of stock and they aren't manufacturing anymore of that model. So you're more likely to get a droid 2.
