URGENT, Need help for my Wife

My wife and I both have the D1. I have been working on mine, rooted, installing ROMS and Kernels. Thanks to the guys that have helped me tcrews, justin82, and especially jrracinfan.

This question is for her. She still works for the Agency and lost some important info.

Her D1 is completely stock. She erased her text messages on accident and lost some info she needed for some of her cases. Some pictures of a few real bad guys and such. She needs to get that info back...all her messages. She has a computer forensics guy at the office but doesn't want to go to him at this point. I know he can do it. She is just looking for another root (lol).....route.

Is there any way besides going to the Forensics guy or are they gone forever?
