    Help!

    I have my original Droid but it hadn't been used in almost 2 years. It still works...I haven't activated it yet, I tried to do a factory reset but my phone just shuts off & restarts itself, it doesn't do the reset. There is an update available but it won't download I'm assuming because the phone isn't activated. So if I activate the phone & install the update do you think it will do the factory reset & work ok?
