.
have u tried wiping data and cache?
Just did that and nothing.
.
do it three times, if that doesnt work then go to factory settings by doing a hard reset
How do I do a hard reset?
.
try a factory reset for now, but your going to have to reflash the recovery to your phone. Did you root and install rom manager? It doesnt sound like you had had it before if you have the factory recovery. Root your phone, (either flashing a sbf or using a rooting program like easyroot) then install rom manager. then flash the recovery. After that try installing the theme again. And just for the guy above, Wiping cache and data is unnecessary when installing a theme....
Turtle bit me.I thought they were slow....they snap so fast.

I rooted and installed rom manager and used clockwork off of it. Right now I'm just wanting to get back to 2.2 stock no root. I need my phone by tonight for work. I'm done with all this rooting, I always get screwed when doing it.

Had this problem rooting my friends phone last night, the steps I did to solve it where to use androot then install rom manager flash clockwork then flash sp and then back to clockwork. You should also download titanium backup and install busybox and back up all your apps. Then go into rom manager and download rom and all that and when it pops up select backup and wipe data then hit ok and let it do its thing.

I can't do anything right now, it keeps getting stuck at the M logo.
.
what theme are you trying to install?? what rom are you trying to install it with??
if you're stuck at the M, you'll have to pull the batt, and then do a hard boot into recovery (hold "x", push power button until screen comes on, let go of power but keep holding "x" until boot into recovery). once you're booted into recovery, you should wipe data and cache. then install your rom, reboot, then install your theme, reboot.
