About LinkBacksI have found a few ways to go back to 2.1. What would be the best way? I would still like my 2.1 to be rooted.
Would an idea be to go back to factory setting? How do i install my backed up apps from titanium backup?

Using TI, press menu > batch > run "Restore missing apps with data" -

08-02-2010 07:01 PMThe best way would be to restore your 2.1 backup that you made before flashing a 2.2 rom. We always make a backup before flashing new roms, right?

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.

08-04-2010 06:07 PMSame question, with a variation though. I'm on stock 2.2 and what if I wanted to go back to stock 2.1? I still have the 2.1 update zip file on my computer, would I be able to flash back to that in the same method that I manually updated to 2.2? Or would I need to RSD lite all the way back to the 2.0.1 sbf, then update to 2.1?

08-04-2010 06:53 PMYou can downgrade just as easily as you can upgrade by just flashing the 2.1.zip, but you will definitely need to wipe. Don't forget your backup(s)!
