Internet Performance Issues

I'm running:
CM 6.2.1
Chevy 2.6.32, 1.2g @1100

I don't have any major issues with anything except pictures on the net. JPG's, PNG's and any other format are loading obnoxiously slow, regardless of website and regardless of wifi/3g speed. I'm using the same browser settings as I was before flashing but pic load speed has dropped around 412% (exactly). In all actuality, on my 20g wifi connection they're loading slower than a 3-bar 3g connection. Same with other hotspots.

Any ideas what could causing this or how to fix? I should be up all night if more information is needed and thanks in advance for any assistance/advice.

Sorry Teddy, it wasn't so much of a fix as an app issue. I had installed AdBlock under the assumption that it only affected application ads but apparently that's not the case. I uninstalled the app; problem solved.
