    Please help me root!

    I have an original droid and currently on the following:
    Build FRG83D
    android 2.2.1

    I'm not that technical so can someone please tell me the easiest way to root? Thanks!

    I'm going to give you the link, but let me tell you that you ought to do some reading and find out what rooting is about before you use it.

    [APP]SuperOneClick v1.6.3 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers

    To the best of my knowledge this works with FRG83D, it has the D1 listed but you may want to research a bit to find out for sure.

    Superoneclick is software for a PC. Follow the instructions carefully and you shouldn't have a problem. Some obtain root the first try but don't be concerned if you have to try a second time. Trust me it works. I rooted my OG Droid running 2.2.1using this method.
