    Root Directory of SD card?

    What does everyone's look like? I ask because I have two folders that have the same photos in them. This seems like a waste of space, but I am not sure which one to delete or if I can without messing something up.

    I have one folder called "my_pix" in the root directory. I know this one is used by the Gallery app. I have added indiviual folders into the "my_pix" folder and they have been displayed in the Gallery.

    I also have a ".thumbnails" folder under the DCIM folder, which has the same photos in it. I haven't been able to figure out why this folder is there or if it is used.

    Don't worry, I'd also like to know about how the picture folders work! Is a little confusing to me too.

    the .thumbnails folder contains the picture thumbnails that are used as icons.
