Notification ringtone as the phone ringtone?

I just got the Motorola Droid and am really disappointed with the selection of the phone ringtones. I don't care for all the musical ringtones and just want simple rings/beeps. I do like several of the Notification ringtones (especially Voila), but I can't set this tone as my ring tone when people call. Can someone help?

Also, what is the Notification ringtone, and how does it differ from the Phone ringtone.

You can put your own notifications on your SD card. You will need to make a folder on your card such as Media. In this Media folder, make subfolders such as Notifications, Ringtones, and Alarms. You can put whatever you want in the folders, like notifier tones in your Ringtones folder, etc. like you want. As long as you use the proper folders, the tones will be available on your phone to select from the menus.
