Ringtone that recites incoming call number?

On a prior phone that's about 3 years old I remember having the option to turn off any "ringtone" and there was a voice that would recite the incoming call depending on if it was from

a contact i had saved: "call from John... call form John"

a number that was unblocked but saved as contact: "incoming call from 212-123-4567... incoming call from 212-123-4567"

or even blocked or unavailable numbers: "call from unavailable number... call from unavailable number"

and I think it even worked for texts: "new text message from John"

Any chance that the droid has this option that i have yet to discover yet? or if not, anyone know of a simple and cheap workaround to accomplish this?

There are a few apps out there to do it. Search the market for 'voice caller id' or 'spoken caller id'.
