Official Motorola Droid Ringtones Thread

Okay - this is my first post to this forum. I just read through all 17 pages and must say very helpful.

However, still have confused on how to get the notification for texts changed. I have the Droid X and I got my husband the R2D2 for Christmas. We both downloaded the Aru Ringtones from the market. And we both did some sounds for notfications. HIS sounds for notifications work for texts and - mine not so much. The ringtones we both have downloaded and assigned to people have worked. But urghhhhh - very frustrating. All he says is his phone is better.

Anyone know where I can download the original Droid ringtones and notifications? I have the incredible and heard some of these on my daughter in laws Droid and would like to have some. Searched this site, hope I didn't overlook them. Thx!!!

Go to m.zedge.net and type in Droid in the search field under ringtones. It will give you a bunch to choose from. You could also download the Zedge app from the market. I use the web version but it's a good app for ringtones and wallpapers if you are interested.

I second this. I tried Ringdroid, but it is far easier to create ringtones using Mobile17's Droid app. Fine tuning has never been easier, I create ringtones at perfect points with great ease. Give it a chance, it's definitely better than some of the other apps I've seen for custom ringtone creation.
