ive been looking for tango sucka thanks! but i want it for my text not ringtone,can u tell me how to set it? the only option it gives me is to set it as ringtone when playing it thorugh music app

This should work, bear in mind I said should...if you create a folder in the root of your SD card called "Notifications" , and place all of your text ringtones and notifications ringtones into that folder, it should show up when you go to select a ringtone in your SMS settings. If it isn't there at first, try rebooting the phone.

When you go into attaching on this forum it doesn't allow .MP3 to be uploaded which is why i posted mine as a .zip. If you wish pm me your email n ill try sending you them that route

Create a folder called MEDIA and three other folders inside of it called ALARMS, NOTIFICATIONS and RINGTONES. Put whatever files you wish for whichever function in said folders. This one that you want for txt would go into NOTIFICATIONS. Sync your Droid to your computer, o and drop that MEDIA folder right with your other folders in your Droid. When you first go into the Droid youll see a ton of folders. Thats where you drop it, with the rest of them. From there you should be able to just bring the sound up as a ringtone.

I dont know which program you use for txts though. Which one do you use? Regular stock messaging app? Go to Settings, check on Notifications and the next option down you can choose your ringtone. Or are you using Handcent? Settings, Notification Settings, check Notifications on, then scroll down and Notification Sound you can choose your ringtone. The rest in there is up to you, Handcent is a whole different thing. Only use one messaging app though, if you use two then youll hear both notifications and get two alerts for the same txt. Believe me, that gets old fast.

On topic, thanks for these ringtones. Im always looking for cool new ones. Best thing about this phone is that you can hook just about any sound file up as a ringtone.
