browser acting crazy

I've been researching this and trying to help the OP and the problem is widespread, but it only seems to be happening with the stock browser and with Dolphin browser ... not with Google Chrome ...

Yea like i said i've tried clearing history, cache, passowrd, turning phone off, then on.
turning data off, on. but still nothing

If i use the following, it works
stock browser with incognito mode
stock browser signed out of google
Chrome

It only doesnt work when im on goole and signed in.

You mentioned this is widespread, i haven't heard too much, do you know whats happening?

No, I Googled it ... found a ton of stuff about it, even a Youtube video, but no fix for it. I'm still digging though

This is kinda crazy but what if you set your home page to https://www.google.com/search?q=+

Not very pretty, I guess. Another idea: http://www.blackle.com/ or http://www.blackl.com/black-google.php

Hi I am also experiencing this problem on my Bionic with ICS for it to work right if I go back to my normal Gmail iits back to the same problem.

I took part after reading this and basically changed my homepage to Google.com. seems to have done the trick so far

I thought that the problem was Google.com set as home page in the first place.

I have the same problem! Samsung Galaxy S3 + Dolphin HD

It started two days ago when going to the Google Mobile homepage, it just keep constantly refreshing and seem to sign in and out. The solution is to turn the phone in Portrait position, quickly scroll down to click Classic and sign out. After that, go back to the mobile page and par-tay like its 1999!

No one know the cause of this and who is at fault, Google or Dolphin.

But that doesnt solve anytihng but only bypasses the issue.technically you can do the following to stop it from refreshing
- Go to classic mode
- Go incognito
- Use chrome
- If u enter google image search signed in, it wont refresh either
- sign out
- dont set ur home page to google

theres tons of bypasses, but which none are solutions.

Are u logged in? Whenever I go to google dot com/ca whatever, it will continuously refresh

Kind of.....its whenever u access google page (main page) with ur account signed in.

Trying signing in again and refresh the google mobile page, i bet you'll see it happen again.
