Unfortunately battery development has not kept up with the different market demands [cell phones, laptops, electric powered automobiles].
Until there is a new, smaller, more potent battery, this is what we have to live with.
So we have to adjust our usage to eek the best battery life with what we have.
If the screen is on a lot, the battery will not last very long.

Way too many people think because you can talk on a phone (their standard test) for 20 hours you can play angry birds for 20 plus hours or watch movies for 20 hours or surf the net for 20 hours.
Yes, every advancement in technology requires more energy. Faster processors, larger/denser pixels all require more juice. I'm all for nuclear powered phones.
I'm for a phone powered by a mouse in a wheel if it would give more than 2 hrs of life!
With the new super mice they can run 10-12 hours nonstop, proves science excels faster than technology.
