    r u using a RAZR + foxfi + nexus 7 ? How's it working?

I would like to get a tablet like nexus and use wifi with phone to establish connection.

Can I do this and not get charged extra? I'm on an unlimited plan w/vzw.

I have the Maxx and the Nexus 7...like 94lt1 states...works like a charm. There are a couple of ways to do it. You can use WiFi Transfer...an app in Play Store to connect the two or you can use ES File Explorer to do the same thing.

Same but different Bionic + FoxFi + Acer 100 = Works like a charm
Droid does some cool and amazing things. Yet it does not do some basic stuff that has been stock on most phones for years. It makes me think the Google developers were marooned in some kind of a 1977 LOST flashback/flashforward/sideways combo reality gameshow

Can both the phone and tablet be used at the same time while doing this? Sharing the data connection i guess is what i mean?

I want to read news on the phone and someone else wants to watch Netflix.

It's fine unles you have a weak 4g signal that goes in and out, switching between 3 and 4.

I have never had luck with FoxFi, I use WiFi tether that requires root to connect my Nexus 7 and have never had any problems.
