When i got my phone back in july i didn't download anything prior to updating to ics should i have still done an fdr or would it hurt to do one now? that and what would be a good backup app to back up mostly everything? and would i have to redo my. 215 leak?

As far as backups.. if you're rooted.. tibu.


And an fdr can never hurt your device. I just did a round of FDR's on my maxx's last week. Did my bionic today... and my x and x2... they're out if rotation now.. so I did FDR's on them too.

As far as your 215 leak.. no. You wouldn't have to redo it.. its your is now.. your device sees that just like if you were on 211.. short of using matts utility or something like that... 215 isn't going anywhere.

I dont use any backup apps. FDR's are pretty painless with the way the play store works now..

SMS backup and app backup and restore are ones I've seen people talk about...

Because you pretty much started fresh with ICS you are probably fine unless you notice any problems. It is not a bad idea to keep things periodically backed up. There are a lot of backup apps that work well for stock. Thanks tis thats the thread that got me thinking i was gonna foxkat my phone again and decided to figure out a couple things cuz my battery life has really been suffering the last week or so and just tonight alone ive had to plug my phone in 3 times since 5 o'clock from about 35%

Yes, foxkatting is a great idea. I always do a cycle after I do an fdr also.

Well did an fdr and now i can c everyones avatars on the app thats cool phone running much faster now

And I like your new avatar! In order to see the avatars, I still always have to go to settings and clear image cache everytime I start this app.
