Thread: (Android) DROID RAZR: "The software update failed. (6.16.211.en.US)" HELP PLEASE!

    Means you didn't extract the files properly. Did you extract the entire zip file to the root of your C: drive?

    Also that status of locked is normal on AP Fast boot mode.

    Yes, I extracted all the files and downloaded the motorola software! But still not working.

    Btw, I have backed up all my apps on Titanium Back up.
    I installed all the apk's ( Razr Bootstrap, Sript Manager, Safestrap, & Voodoo Rootkeeper) already.

    Also the instruction said "The Status Code on AP Fastboot has to be 1, but on my droid it says 0."

    No the instructions said if you have a status of 1 then you have an unlocked bootloader and to email him because you have a very RARE phone. All of our bootloaders say status of 0 because they are all locked by Verizon/Motorola.

    I would try the extract again and see if it works, can also try to right click it and say run as admin if you are using Windows 7.
