No luck. Same error as last time. I'm going to have to wait for the OTA, I think.

No, you can definitely charge the phone.I know, from my past experiences and bricking, there's no way to charge the phone. Fortunately on the Droid 3 the battery is removable, so I just switched my other pair. Unfortunately the Razr battery can't be changed =/ That's why I was saying to turn it off so you don't waste battery on the red "Dual Core" screen and save the rest of the battery on the phone for when you actually are ready to recover it, since I don't think there would be a way to charge it if it is bricked.

Yeah I would just wait for the OTA, Sorry you couldn't get it working =/ I hope you don't have this same problem with the OTA through your phone, that would be a mess.
Yup, just wanted other to have a piece of my Ice Cream Sandwich
Nice find, after reading some comments it's like 50/50 success rate, worth a shot. When I bricked I couldn't even do that, my whole phone wouldn't charge no matter what I did, I think that "Battery Charging Up" logo can also get corrupted too with a brick, and that's what will let you charge the phone while your bricked or not.

Ah, fair enough. I think it's worth mentioning that's only reliable for soft-bricks like we've been running into.
Managed to find a quick solution to my problem...Using the last post in this thread in case anybody else ever has this problem.
HELP battery died during flash!
Basically, trick the phone into thinking I have "enough" battery to finish the Fastboot. Basically, if you boot the phone with it plugged in, it thinks the battery is fine, even in recovery and FastBoot mode. My phone is rebooting now as we speak so hopefully everything worked fine and I managed to not completely ruin my night. XD
Yeah weirdly enough I havent run into any of the errors described, for me it's stuck at "Patching Boot Image" and has been on this prompt for over 20 minutes now...
Nevermind, gave it a 2nd try and it went through like grandma's home made stick of butter.
Wow, my happiness is always jerked around. Ok, so the install went through fine but now the device is soft bricked. LOL, can't catch a break ever! Yeah, it just won't start up. Red flashing eye is stuck.
