I don't know what is considered "cheap" but I have this 32 GB class 10 PNY card which I got for $38 at Amazon. It works great shooting HD video with no lag.

I've noticed 1080p video is a bit choppy, but that may be due to my older card. Maybe it's time to upgrade (it's the card that came in my OG Droid; I might cry if I have to ditch it).

To transfer info and data from one card to the other, you can just copy and paste right?

Normal files like documents, pictures and movies yes; not so sure about programs installed on the card though.

The APK files can be copied off and they are designed to be a container file with all the necessary files/folders to install. Programs like AppMonster (my favorite) will backup all the APK files and allow you to uninstall/reinstall right from the SD card.
