This is a discussion on Huzzah! More bloatware! within the Droid RAZR forums, part of the Droid RAZR Forum category; So, after the latest OTA update, more bloatware appears on my phone, MOG MUSIC and Slingbox are some of what i found....

    Huzzah! More bloatware!

    So, after the latest OTA update, more bloatware appears on my phone, MOG MUSIC and Slingbox are some of what i found.

    That is frickin' annoying.
    Do you like uninstallable bloatware?
    It takes about 5 minutes to complain and it's kinda fun. Let's not be complacent!
    Contact Verizon (anonymous w/ fake name if you like)
    Chat/Email/Call Motorola (anonymous if you like)
    Vote for Google issue requires Google login. Just "star" it to vote.

    Oh well..!!! as long as it fixes that annoying connection issue I can bypass the bloatware..!!

    All of the bloatware used to bother me until I realized two things:
    1) freezing bloatware makes updating via OTA a little more difficult with having to unfreeze and
    2) I don't see any of the bloatware because I use a folder app to organize my apps so I never go into the app drawer.

    I realize that some of that stuff could be running in the background but the phone seems fast to me so I don't care. Though if someone can point out something that is eating up battery power, I'll change my opinion.

    2.3.6 ver 174 rooted with NO problems

    Ok, now i'm disgusted with bloat. I opened both Slingbox and Mog and they were just advertisements to subscribe.

    i dont see it cause i freeze it with titanium back up. its kind of a pain to unfreeze all of them for an ota but its worth it as long as i dont see them.
