Thanks for throwing that compro up there, wyld. All the 6MP setting is doing is cropping so that it fits the RAZR's screen. This really ought to have come with 8MP as the standard setting out of the box.

Now, 720p being the default for video as opposed to 1080p is another issue. I've found that my videos look better in 720p, so I left it at that setting as opposed to going to full bore 1080p (not to mention, at this quality level of hardware, the difference between 720p and 1080p isn't enough to justify the extra space 1080p videos take up).
