My new RAZOR keeps dropping connection when I try to use internet. Also my screen keeps turning off randomly.

try reseating your SIM card, it may help the issue.
as for your screen turning off, can you explain more? is it simply timing out from inactivity or is it a random shut off?

I am having the exact same issues with both the data and the screen. It just shuts off even while I'm using it no matter what I set the screen timeout to.
Also it will start sending/receiving a never ending amount of data. No matter what i do nothing seems to stop it. It took my batter from near full to 20% today in just a few hours with out me even using it.

Do a battery pull (not just a reboot).
If problem persists "grit your teeth" and do a Factory Reset. These have gotten pretty painless lately by following these simple steps: 1. Make sure Backup and Restore are checked in the Privacy setting. 2. When going through the setup after the reset, turn on wifi as soon as you can (assuming it is available). 3. After you have entered your Gmail account info, you will be presented with a screen that has two check boxes. Basically they are "Do you want Google to backup and restore this phone”. Make sure you check both of those. Your apps will then automatically reinstall (paid and free). Set the phone aside for a minute or two and let the apps download and install. 3. If rooted, use an app such as titanium backup to restore data only to select apps such as Tapatalk and you will not have to re-enter all your login information. I do this for 3-4 apps (Tapatalk, SPB Shell, etc.).
I've been flashing new roms/updates about once per day lately and I can be up and running with all my apps and settings back in place in less than 20 minutes. It's pretty painless now.
NOTE: I learn this morning that not everyone has been as lucky as I with the automatic re-installs. So good luck if you end up having to go that route.

Also, these same threads are showing up all over the net about data loss/no data on all 4G phones - Razr, Bionic, TB, Charge, etc. It appears to be an issue with the new 4G system. I do know that I installed all three of the leaked OTA updates from Motorola and a custom rom and my data issues have gone away. YMMV

i also have the razr and am seriously thinking about taking it back and going back to the Bionic.... I know that devise will be fixed and I like the replaceable battery.
I've had the same issue with not having any network connection at all. I charge my phone to the full charge and when its done I unplug it and when I go in and check the battery status it almost instantly says 90% without even doing anything.
After using this widget I realize that the lock screen shows full charge when your battery gets to 95% or above ...it is rounding up. So what you perceive as a full battery may only be 95 or 96 %. Then when it drops down to 94%, the phone rounds down to 90% as the reported battery percent. If you have the circle battery widget, you can see this happening.
So it appears to you that the battery has lost a tenth of its life in a short time, while in reality it probably went from 96 to 94 %.
