The only dumb question is the one not asked.
if you dont see the blue/grey then you're lying to yourself.
it's inherant in the panel they're using.. it's not something that will magically go away.

I never saw the grid in the Bionics Pentile display either. Maybe I'm too old or my vision is not as good as yours.
I found the screen dim when it was on auto brightness. I didn't feel I could read websites. When I turned it up it looked great.
I'm going to decide between the RAZR and the Galaxy Nexus.
It's hard to decide when they aren't giving much info on the Galaxy... impatiently waiting.
Given the recent issues I'm having with the Bionic I may be swayed to the Nexus. Depends on how the reviews are.
Also need more reviews of the RAZR.
Ran across this online regarding the display, just thought I'd share.
A closer look at the Droid RAZR's screen | The Verge Forums
I find the blue grey tint very noticeable as well and I am one who never really saw the grid on my bionic. I posted two pics of the screen earlier today in the "official I got my razr thread" or whatever it's called. If you haven't had the chance to get your hands on a razr yet look at that thread and check out the side by side.
