I'm pretty sure the answer is already out there. All you need to do is read some xoom forums. Its android and you can't pull the battery. There's a hard reset key combination on those so certainly the interweb must have threads about this type of thing and whether anyone has ever had to take it to a store to repair or swap out.

If you're talking about the "Power + Volume Up/Down" that's for doing a hard reset to factory settings and for that to work, you first have to turn the phone off. If you get the "Black Screen of Death" like the Bionic has, the buttons won't work to do the reset. And the Xoom reset is Power + Volume Up for 3 seconds but you'd have to try it to see if it works on a RAZR (it doesn't on the Bionic).

Maybe the RAZR won't have that problem.

Not that this is helping, but pulling the battery is the rude way to reset an microprocessor. All you have to do is put a specified pin to ground and it will trigger a reset.

That's why I love reset buttons, if forces a reset no matter what and it doesn't force you to cycle the back cover and the battery.

I hope it doesn't use a touch screen button combo, perhaps if you use the on/off and volume rocker, very important to know before I buy.

My X2 was very stable but I still had to do several battery pulls in the few months I owned it.

x2. A reset button is nice, but hopefully I don't have to carry a paperclip lol. Pulling the battery when my alarm keeps going off and my eyes aren't functioning to turn it off is nice with my D1
