    Wifi very slow...

    Hello,

    I updated my phone to Gingerbread 2.3.6 and since then my wifi on my phone has been pants, disconnecting or being very slow going from page to page...

    I have tried the wifi on my laptop and its fine...

    Any suggestion would be awesome...

    Well, not sure what "pants" means, but have you checked for any possible firmware updates on the router? I've read where compatibility and speed issues have been resolved by flashing a more recent version of software onto the wireless routers.

    Sorry if this is a little late, but I'm having the same issue. I have the Razr Maxx and my father has the Bionic, we both have very slow speeds on the wifi network in our house. Every other device is fine, I've tried various laptops, iphones, desktops, etc... all are fine. Is this a known issue with Android or something? Also when I do a speedtest on the phone, it takes forever to load it up but when it does it shows the correct speed of the network. Maybe ICS will fix this issue idk, but let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
