I'm sorry to ask such an easy question...

I had to do a master reset on my Razr and now I can't remember and can't find where to change my check email (gmail app) setting to every hour, 2 hours, 4, hours etc.

I had to do a master reset on my Razr and now I can't remember and can't find where to change my check email (gmail app) setting to every hour, 2 hours, 4, hours etc.

I could be wrong but I'm not sure you can configure the gmail app to check at a preset amount of time. I think it might be on "push" all of the time.

At least I couldn't figure out where to set that on my Razr either...

Well, , I could before the master reset. It saved on battery life, A LOT.
I changed it to 2 hours. Now I can't find the option.

The prev poster is right. The Gmail app provides push. Did you set up your gmail account as a pop3 account under your stock mail client (not the gmail app)?
The Gmail app (push) does not use a lot of battery. In my phone, overall it consumes less than 2% of the total battery usage -much less than my live wallpaper. My razr goes for nearly 24hrs strong before it needs a charge with light use.

My issue now is that gmail isn't syncing.
