4G connectivity?

Hi, I recently made the jump to Verizon and got the Razr. My Mom has the Bionic, and allways has 4G signal in the house, while I seldom do.

Is there some setting or something that I can do? We will both be in the same exact room, I don't even have 3G signal, and she has a 4G one.

Is this bad luck or a common occurrence?

Any info/help is greatly appreciated

I had problems with my 3g and 4g network going away then coming back, I took the hard case i had on my razr and now it works all the time. So far I think the hard case for the phone didn't allow the signal to come thru.

I have a softish case, I removed it anyway but it didn't seem to do anything.

Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem or should I contact Verizon??

and your system version is...? Is it moto stock?
Settings->About Phone->System Version
The latest is 6.11.748.XT912
The last update solved connectivity problems for some users. Make sure you have the latest firmware.

This update what is the start of all my problems. I was fine before that update.

I seem to be having the same problems, I get the latest update and use no case on my phone but the screen protector and my connection goes in and out all the time... any other fixes..???
