    Two email apps!

    2 email apps came with my phone. Gmail and the email app. I wasn't to uninstall at least one of them but can't uninstall either! Seems like a waste of battery.... Anyone know a solution please? Thanks in advance.

    The Gmail app is designed to specifically work only with Gmail obviously (and most likely can't be deleted since it is a core Google application). The standard email app is designed for all other email (Exchange, POP3, Yahoo, etc.). It's part of Motoblur so I doubt it can be deleted either. I would expect that if you don't have either of them setup to continuously sync any email in the background it isn't hurting your battery at all.

    I prefer syncing my POP 3 account through my Gmail account and just using the Gmail app.
