How do I mass delete emails

Ok, I delete emails when I recieve them. When I press the menu button and go into labels I have my three email accounts. There is the spam label and the [Imap]/Trash label. I currenty have 104 emails in the spam and 2159 in the trash. My question is.....Can I delete these emaisl all at once instead of having to check them off one at a time and then deleting them? On the HTC thunderbolt I could go into the menu and there was a check all button. I can not find this option on the Razr.

Yep, I tried that already by logging into my gmail account on google. As far as I found on there it only lets you delete 50 at a time.

Edit: I just went back into settings on google and was able to push the limit to 100 at a time. I deleted all trash emails in 21 cycles. It did remove them from my phone also. Thanks for the help guys and if there is another/easier way please post it here.

When you open the trash box and select all at the top, an option will open in the top of the message box to select all items in trash. You click on that an all items in trash will be selected and then can be deleted with one click.

I did the drop down menu and clicked all and it would still only delete what was on the page.
