Shouldn't. Seems like txt spam

Definitely spam. It is being pushed to your phone via an app that you recently installed. You can find out the likely culprit by using airpush detector.

Well, I took the plunge and updated to 215 from stock ICS since GPS was useless and I have been dropping some calls which never happened before. Since updating, I can't really comment on dropped calls yet but unfortunately GPS is still not working very well. I have not tried a FDR at any point but that may be the next thing I try.
You really need to do an fdr. All the time spent trying to work around a phone that has problems will be saved in triplicate or more in the time it takes to do an fdr and set your phone back up again.
As a guide for ideas when backing up and restoring before doing an fdr see: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/res...ng-ics-gb.html

Looks like a sought bump in battery life for me. I can get close to 8 hours of screen on time now compared to 6 on 211. I really don't see much change otherwise. Maybe a little snappier but after ruining awhile i still get some lag with what must be lots of sleeping apps. A quick kill of ruining apps speeds things up again. I'm happy i did the update.
No 4G here so i can't compare signal strength or stability. 3G holds well as it did before.
I'm at 4% with 15 hours on battery and 7 hours screen on. 80% screen and 10% OS.

FYI. You can go from .215 back to. 211 so you're safe if you need to roll back for an official OTA update.
