    Voice search missing

    Anyone missing voice search since ics? I've done a factory reset that didn't help. Need advice!

    Hi Mark, it's not really missing, they just did not include the app icon in the apps drawer. This thread should help you. It explains what happened to the voice search and an app to create an icon for it to place on your homescreen'

    Why dont you just press and hold the search button on the bottom right and it takes you right to voice search. no need for an icon.

    The only reason I don't do that is because I hate having that huge wide widget taking up space on my homescreen when I can have a small icon that I just simply tap instead. That is what is so great about our Androids... we get to make them do and look like pretty much anything we want.

    Long-pressing the search button on the Razr with Jelly Bean only brings up text search, not voice search. Google removed it because they think you should throw away your phone and get a Nexus 4.
