    Shortcut added to homescreen

    Is there a way to stop apps from being automatically added to the home screen? It doesn't matter what launcher I am using - anything new that I install gets added to the screen as a shortcut. I don't remember this happening on GB.

    I believe the setting is in the Play Store. Open the PS, hit the menu hard button on your phone, and it should bring up this menu. Untick Auto-add widgets.
