Once a month, I download it, run it, and delete it. Apps like this tend to change the way the device operates... so I don't jeep em on my device.. they cause lagging, force closes, instability and I don't like any of those issues personally hope this helps

Ohhhhhhhhh...thanks for the tip...I think I'll try the same....I hate the idea of paying for an anti virus on my phone and I'm very careful what I open and from who...so I'll give this a try,....thanks!

There are tons of free antivirus/malware apps on the play store... so I wouldn't bother paying for one. Unless it has features you like...

Not sure what you mean about the notifications, but as far as the phone, if you tap the little magnifying glass when you open the phone dialer app (lower right corner) it will open your contacts list. The keyboard will pop up, which is a minor annoyance, but if you tap the first letter of the contact's name on the keyboard, it will take you right to the contacts that start with that letter. Hope this helps.

I just noticed when I tap the magnifying glass while in phone...it brings up all 2500 plus of my facebook contacts! I have it marked to NOT sync with facebook, and when I tap on the "people" icon, I get just my 75 or so phone contacts......so.....any ideas on how to get rid of all those contacts from the magnifying glass option??

If you open the "People" app (Contacts) ... tap the menu button, the "Contacts to Display" ... it will let you choose which contacts you want to display. If they are already in your phone I don't know for sure if it will remove them, because I told Facebook "Don't Sync Contacts" at the beginning. Hope this helps.
