    This is how you "force an update" on a Galaxy Nexus, this is what they did for the 4.0.4 update

    Here is what you have to do:
    • Go to settings>Apps>All
    • Tap Google Services Framework
    • Tap on Clear Data and then Force Stop
    • Go to About Settings>About Phone>Check for Updates

    A    nyone want to try that out? It won't work the first time I know that, it might take 5-10 cycling those steps to get it.

    Will u guys Calm down 1st off they said today and today is not over and they dont release it to everyone at 1 time so some will get it tonight and others possibly tomorrow or later to make sure there is no major problems I wouldnt even start looking for it till about 8pm tonight Pacific

    Verizon employees do test the software, but I have seen many instances where employees test it months in advance and the soak still Ames place. I don't think this verizon guy knew completely what he was taking about. If the soak test was cancelled, möto would have sent an email about it
