    I have started receiving text messages from the sender 6250 with the message VZWNMN:1
    I remember receiving the same messages some time back but now they are coming much more frequently. About 8 today, 50 total over the past week.
    They seem to come about the same time I get email from my non Gmail account.
    They now are marked urgent! In the notification bar.
    VZW tech support says it's caused by third party text apps. I had chomp installed, uninstalled it and no change.
    Of course they now suggest an FOR.
    Any suggestions?

    dumb question, but have you tried responding with just the text, "stop" ?

    It seems to have. I deleted those emails from back up assistant plus. Got a text from the same number that it was deleted. So far no new texts.

    I called VZW back to share this with them. Funny one VZW tech had the answer and a customer has to share with the others.
    They really do try though, and they are always nice.

    I never received any emails..I turned off bua+ and just got the text...ironically it doesn't show up in text list..I have smsflash and appears only as a popup..

    Should have said email accounts on BU+.
    I actually don't know how those email accounts for registered with BU+.
