What the phone reports may be flawed by incorrect reading of the maximum capacity. The way the phone gets this information is from a full charge performed while the power is OFF. It may serve you well to do a battery meter training, considering the phone is new. Others here can school you on it...I have to run. Take it away friends!!![]()

Short form:
Do a battery meter training:
*with phone powered off, charge it to 100% (you can check the % of charge by pressing the volume button).
*When it reaches 100%, turn phone on, unplug, use your phone without charging it until it gets to the low battery warning (10-15% charge).
*Turn phone off and charge it while off until it reaches 100% again.
*Turn phone on and use it and charge it as you normally would.

Thank you so much all for the information! Great help.
If you go into settings>about phone>model number what does it say? Mine says Droid RAZR Maxx HD.
O yeah, you're right. But it should say something like Motorola RAZR or Motorola RAZR Maxx.
